The Digital Black Dance Ecologies project presented a unique opportunity to design a website that amplified the presence of Africanist dance within digital performance art. Collaborating with the interdisciplinary network, I conducted initial consultations to understand their objectives, including creating a platform for event bookings and community engagement.
The final website offered an intuitive user experience, blending modern aesthetics with functionality.
By integrating event booking capabilities and a dark/moody layout inspired by earth tones, the platform became a central hub for connecting users with the network’s activities. This project underscored my ability to translate creative visions into fully functional digital solutions.
